Turkish and Air Arabia were allowed to operate flights from Dhaka

Turkish Airlines and Air Arabia are going to resume flights to Dhaka from July after being closed for a long time due to coronavirus outbreak. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has already given permission to the two airlines to launch flights from Dhaka.

Turkish Airlines will initially operate three flights a week. Their flight will leave Dhaka at 7.35 am on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. A representative of Turkish Airlines said that passengers will be able to travel from Dhaka to various destinations in the world including Turkey, Italy, Australia and the United States.

Meanwhile, Air Arabia is launching flights from Dhaka on July 1. This UAE budget airline will only be able to take transit passengers to Sharjah. However, UAE citizens and residency pass holders will be able to enter Sharjah on an Air Arabia flight.
