The World Climate Conference is going to be held from October 31

The 13-day UN World Climate Conference, called COP-28, is being held in Glasgow, Scotland from October 31 to November 12, hosted by Britain.
It will be difficult to save the world if we do not prevent the catastrophe of climate change. The current commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions has led the Earth to a catastrophic average 2.8-degree Celsius rise in temperature this century.
The United Nations says this is the latest stern warning before climate talks. Developed countries have a special responsibility to take action, which all 193 member states of the United Nations do.
UNEP Executive Director Inger Andersen told Al Jazeera that the G20 countries accounted for 6 per cent of all emissions.
He added that most of the promised steps have been delayed until 2030. Scientists warn that it will be too late to stop the worst of climate change in the world.
He warns, work must be done.
Promises to reduce more ambitious greenhouse gases will be in the spotlight at next week’s COP 28 conference. It is a threat to the planet. Extreme weather disasters, including hurricanes, wildfires, and floods, are increasingly affecting countries around the world. Even global warming will make the situation worse
