The United Kingdom has said it will provide asylum to 20,000 Afghans. The Boris Johnson administration makes this promise.
About 20,000 Afghans will be allowed to stay in the country in the coming years, the report said, citing the UK Home Office.
In the first year, 5,000 Afghans will have the opportunity to settle in the UK. In addition, 5,000 Afghan interpreters and UK workers will be allowed to stay in the country.
Gradually this number is expected to increase further. Under the new project, the country will give priority to women, children and those in need.
