Protesters chanted slogans on the stairs of the Supreme Court and on the surrounding streets – ‘My body, my choice’. Many had placards and banners in their hands. It says – ‘Mind your own uterus’ (take news of your own uterus). Another banner reads: “I Love Someone Who Had an Abortion.” “Abortion is a Personal Choice, Not a Legal Debate.”
Some were wearing T-shirts with ‘1973’ written on them. It has been used to illustrate the historical Roi v. Wade decision. That decision legalized abortion in the United States.
A woman named Robin Horn, who took part in the protest rally, said she supported the right to abortion. “I never had to deal with things like abortion,” she said. However, there are many women who have faced this problem, but then the government or responsible men do not fulfill any responsibility.
