Erdogan’s closed-door meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two leaders held a closed-door meeting at the Sea Palace in Doha.
During the hour-long meeting, they discussed bilateral issues as well as Palestine, Kashmir, Syria, Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict and the Mediterranean crisis. However, details of the talks were not released to the media.
On this day, the Turkish President arrived at Doha Airport at 2.30 pm local time.
Erdogan was welcomed by Qatari Defense Minister Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and Turkish Ambassador Mustafa Goksur.
Erdogan left for Kuwait this morning.
During the visit, the newly appointed Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed, expressed his condolences on the death of the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah. Sheikh Sabah recently died in the United States at the age of 91. He is called the architect of Kuwait’s foreign policy.
