Bangladesh has officially signed an aviation agreement with the United States. State Minister for Private Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali said the final decision on the launch of the flight would be taken after a meeting of the Federal Aviation Administration with Dhaka Civil Aviation.
There were direct flights from Bangladesh to the United States from 1994 to 2006 on the basis of temporary permits. The state minister for private aviation and tourism said the Saudi government had sought permission to launch more special flights.
Meanwhile, the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh-Atab has issued a written statement with six proposals on seat crisis, ticket price hike and booking on various flights in the Middle East.
